About the Therapist
I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. I continued my professional education and received a Masters Degree in Health Administration (MPA-HA) from Portland State University in 2010 with a focus on Program Development and Healthcare Policy.
Over the last 16 years, I have practiced in a variety of settings serving children and families including Early Intervention, Inpatient rehab/Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU), Home Health, and Outpatient Therapy Clinics. I believes in making therapy fun, engaging, and including the entire family in the therapy program.
I am also the parent of a beautiful little boy who was born at 28 weeks. Having experience both as a provider and parent, I fully understand the complexities of navigating a complicate system and advocating for the needs of your child. I also know that the standard recommendations might not work best for all families and all situations, and finding a provider who truly listens to your concerns will lead to the best outcomes for children and parents alike.
In my spare time, I enjoys spending time with my husband and son at the Oregon Coast, and behind the lens of a camera capturing the beauty of life!
